Saturday looks to be a bit cool and it's supposed to be in the forties Sunday, so let's do an afternoon ride Sunday. That way you can ride indoors Saturday morning and be ready for another ride Sunday.

We'll meet at Starbucks for the ride at 1:00 PM and follow the Orchard Lake route counter-clockwise for 35 or 45 miles. The wind is predicted to switch during the ride, so we may get a light tail wind for both the beginning and end of the ride.

Read MoreToday, I received a report of our club's orders from Garneau and I'm happy to report that we exceeded the minimums for all items and everyone has paid for the items they selected during the pre-order period. Thank you for your participation and attentiveness throughout the ordering process. Garneau received orders from 35 people for a total of 98 items. Some of you ordered both men's and women's items and others order multiple items. I think you all appreciated how our sponsor dollars helped cut the prices. In fact, you took full advantage and used all of the available funds and then some.

Read MoreWolf Tooth is a local bicycle-component manufacturer and they are celebrating their fifth anniversary at their location in Burnsville on February 10, 4 – 8 PM. They have invited anyone in RCC who has an interest in seeing how locally made bike parts are manufactured or simply enjoys socializing with other bike people of similar interest while drinking free beer.
