Saturday Rides Starting from Starbucks in Rosemount, MN
We’re opening our 2026 road season this Saturday with a ride from Rosemount to Castle Rock clockwise. The ride will depart from Starbucks at 9:00. We’ll stop briefly at Castle Rock & Roll Bar & Grill for a nature break. Please bring enough food and drink for the route. We'll maintain a steady pace of 18–20 mph until we return to Hwy 3 in Empire, at which point the 'anything goes' segment begins.

We will follow our alternate Castle Rock route, which will avoid traffic and wet streets in the Cobblestone Lake area. This 44-mile route is similar to our Northfield route, with a cutoff via CR 86 through Castle Rock.

Saturday's ride will have some cross winds, but mostly head and tail winds. We'll follow the 44-mile alternate Castle Rock route, which is fairly flat and should be a good season opener. We'll meet Saturday afternoon at Starbucks in Rosemount and start riding at 1pm. If you drive to the ride, don't forget important things like your helmet and shoes.

Plan to leave Rosemount at 08:00 and ride south to Northfield (55 miles), Castle Rock (44 miles), or Farmington (25 miles), depending on your time and fitness constraints. We’ll go counterclockwise and south on Hwy 3 to the roundabout at 195th St, rather than taking Pilot Knob Rd. In Northfield, we’ll stop at Brick Oven Bakery for some goodies.
