This week, starting at 08:00, we will be heading north via our West Saint Paul route clockwise. We’ll add an extra loop into Bloomington to make this a 48-mile route with 2,200 feet of climbing.

Read MoreThis week, we are heading east to Hastings via our 54-mile Revenna Tail route, which we’ll follow clockwise and through Spring Lake Park, so we can enjoy the autumn colors through the park. The ride will start in Rosemount at 08:00.

The weather is looking good with partly cloudy skies, temps from 51 to 62 degrees, and winds from the south at 7 to 11 mph. The wind should give us a good workout and a nice ride back to Rosemount.
Read MoreRain is expected Saturday morning, so this weekend we’re riding Sunday morning. The ride Sunday will leave Starbucks at 08:00. We’ll follow the Shakopee route that we rode a month ago, but in the opposite direction and without a construction detour in Bloomington. The 56-mile route will have a stop about 21-miles out, at Hyland Park, because that facility is open and city parks are not. The weather Sunday should be sunny with temps from 54 to 64 degrees and 5 mph WNW winds.
Read MoreOn Labor Day, we’re going to do a special 54-mile ride from Joe's Sports Cafe, 1510 7th St NW Faribault MN, starting at 08:00. We’ll ride north to New Market and return through Lonsdale and along several lakes. This will be a casual, no-drop ride.
After the ride, we can eat at Joe’s. The drive to Faribault will take about 40 minutes from Rosemount.
Read MoreSaturday’s ride will be to Cleary Lake Regional Park near Prior Lake. We’ll combine two versions of our Prior Lake route to make a new 60-mile loop. For the first part of the ride, we’ll leave Starbucks at 08:00 and ride to Prior Lake, following our Prior Lake route, and then we’ll follow our Prior Lake alternate route to Cleary Lake and back to Rosemount. The weather will be nice with temps from 57 to 73 degrees, sun, and light winds from the west.

This 55-mile route has a bit of everything: climbs, straight flat roads and trails, and rivers and lakes. The heat is going to break, so we will have cooler temps of 61 to 70 degrees, with sunny skies and a moderate wind from the northwest.

We’ll leave Starbucks at 08:00 Sunday and head east, to Hastings, following our Revenna Trail route clockwise. I have a special pit stop and treat planned along the last half of the ride. It will be partly sunny with temps from 69 to 74 degrees and light northeast winds.
