Ride Sunday, September 13
Rain is expected Saturday morning, so this weekend we’re riding Sunday morning. The ride Sunday will leave Starbucks at 08:00. We’ll follow the Shakopee route that we rode a month ago, but in the opposite direction and without a construction detour in Bloomington. The 56-mile route will have a stop about 21-miles out, at Hyland Park, because that facility is open and city parks are not. The weather Sunday should be sunny with temps from 54 to 64 degrees and 5 mph WNW winds.
As in the past, we’ll continue to ride until the weather isn’t conducive to riding road bikes. That means temps need to be in the mid-30s and rising with clear roads and not precipitation. On weekends, when we can’t ride outside, I’ll offer rides on Zwift again on Saturdays at 09:00. If you’re a Zwifter, follow me (Cory Wagner) and I’ll invite you to my events. We talk about everything during the rides, via our Discord channel.
I’ve created a short survey for your feedback again this year. Please take two minutes to fill it out so I can see how we’re doing.
