We will maintain a steady pace of 18–20 mph, and keep everyone together, until we get to Hwy 3 in Empire, at which point the 'anything goes' segment begins.

I hope you’ve had a good off season and have been able to ride this Winter. The weather is finally warming up enough for us to ride outside, rather than on our smart trainers. As we transition into spring, it's a great time to reconnect with the open road and enjoy the fresh air. Remember to check your gear, charge your batteries, and enjoy the warmer days on your bike.

This Saturday, we’ll start our ride from Rosemount at 10:00 and head to Sweet Kneads Cannon Falls Bakery via Hampton. This is a new, temporary 56-mile route that avoids two Dakota County construction projects on our normal route. Some of us rode this route in September and enjoyed the new roads.

Saturday, we’re going to ride from Rosemount to Cannon Falls via Hastings. This new route is 63 miles and has just 1,600 feet of elevation. We’ll be taking this longer route, because there’s road work at the intersection of CR46 and CR85 through November. Our rest stop will be at Sweet Kneads Cannon Falls Bakery, which is just past the half-way point, and return to Rosemount via our normal route.

Saturday morning, starting at 8:00, we’re going to ride south from Rosemount to Cannon Falls in a clockwise direction. We’ll stop for treats at the bakery in Cannon Falls.
