Saturday Rides Starting from Starbucks in Rosemount, MN
This Saturday’s ride will begin at 1:00 PM, departing from Starbucks. Our route will take us to Bloomington in a counterclockwise loop. A rest stop is planned at Hyland Lake Park Visitor Center before heading back to Rosemount. The weather forecast indicates a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from 43F to 49F. Expect a strong breeze from the northwest at 13 mph.

The ride will leave Starbucks in Rosemount at 1:00 pm. During the ride, it should be about 47 degrees with mostly sunny skies and WNW winds at 10 to 14 mph.

Read MoreWe’re hosting a special Memorial Day ride Monday. This ride will start at Hyland Lake Park Preserve (10145 E Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington), not Rosemount, and head west to Waconia and back. This 60-mile ride will start at 08:00, and we should be back at the park before Noon. We’ll stop for a short break at a coffee shop in Waconia (there are several in the same area). There are a couple of places where you could shortcut to shorten the route, if needed. Let me know before the ride if you need directions.
We’ve stopped at Hyland Lake many times in the last year for a mid-ride break, so many of you have seen the park. We’ll meet up at 08:00 at Sunnyside Picnic Area, which is south of the Visitor Center. Please do not park immediately west of the Visitor Center.
