Saturday Rides Starting from Starbucks in Rosemount, MN
Rain, rain, go away. We will ride again on Sunday.
It will be dry on Sunday, so we’re going to ride to Shakopee in a counterclockwise direction, starting from Starbucks at 8:00. Our route should avoid flooding, because we’re crossing the Minnesota River at I-494 and Hwy 101. This route is a bit longer than usual, so plan for a little more time and effort.

This route has less elevation than most of the rides we’ve done this season, but the wind will make it more of a challenge. We’ll stop in Northfield at Brick Oven Bakery for some goodies before returning to Rosemount.

Our route will be Saint Paul Summit Ave clockwise, which is about 45-miles long and has about 2,000 feet of elevation. We’ll likely stop for a short nature break at Cherokee Regional Park, which is just past the High Bridge. Sunday morning it will be 52°F to 60°F, with sunny skies and a light north wind at about 4 mph.
