Saturday Rides Starting from Starbucks in Rosemount, MN
This weekend’s ride will follow our Tour of Bloomington route clockwise. Fall colors are starting to appear in Bloomington, so we will have a nice, scenic ride, with a stop Hyland Lake Park Reserve. The weather forecast says it may rain Saturday morning so, if it’s wet Saturday, I’ll postpone the ride to Sunday morning. Either day, the ride will start at 08:00 from Starbucks.

I’ve added a small change to the route to loop around town from the north before getting to our destination in Prior Lake. This adds a couple of miles and avoids the out-and-back along 160th Street in Prior Lake. We did this extra bit in the other direction on July 24. Let me know how you like it. The weather forecast says it will be partly cloudy with temps from 45 to 60 degrees, and west winds at 6 to 9 mph.

Rain showers and storms are predicted all day Saturday, while Sunday morning looks like it will be cloudy, so this weekend we’ll ride Sunday morning at 08:00. The route will be Northfield counterclockwise, which is a 55-mile loop. We haven’t done this route counterclockwise yet this year, and it’s been a month since we last made the trek to Northfield. As usual, we’ll take a break at Brick Oven Bakery in Northfield.
