This route has less elevation than most of the rides we’ve done this season, but the wind will make it more of a challenge. We’ll stop in Northfield at Brick Oven Bakery for some goodies before returning to Rosemount.

Our route will be Saint Paul Summit Ave clockwise, which is about 45-miles long and has about 2,000 feet of elevation. We’ll likely stop for a short nature break at Cherokee Regional Park, which is just past the High Bridge. Sunday morning it will be 52°F to 60°F, with sunny skies and a light north wind at about 4 mph.

Our first outdoor club ride of the year will be Sunday afternoon. The ride will start at 1:00 PM from Starbucks in Rosemount and head south to Northfield in a counterclockwise direction. We’ll stop in Northfield for a short break before returning to Rosemount. The weather Sunday will be in the mid to upper 40s, with sunny skies, and south winds at 6 to 9 mph.

We will meet at the parking lot on Lyndale Avenue, by I-35W in Bloomington, and start riding east toward Cedar Avenue at 9:00. You may also join us on the north-west side of the Cedar Avenue bridge around 9:20 to 9:25, and don’t be late. If you ride from Eagan make sure you cross the river and then look for us on the trail north of the river. We'll decide from there where we should ride next.
