Ride Saturday, September 14

Saturday, we’re going to ride from Rosemount to Cannon Falls via Hastings. This new route is 63 miles and has just 1,600 feet of elevation. We’ll be taking this longer route, because there’s road work at the intersection of CR46 and CR85 through November. Our rest stop will be at Sweet Kneads Cannon Falls Bakery, which is just past the half-way point, and return to Rosemount via our normal route.

Ride Saturday, July 27

Saturday’s club ride will be from Starbucks in Rosemount, starting at 8:00, and heading to Northfield in a counterclockwise direction. The route is the same as two weeks ago, but we’ll go a bit slower and keep everyone together this time. It starts out through the Cobblestone Lake area. Finding the bike path that goes under CR 46 can be a bit tricky, so we’ll look for Dutton Lane, which leads south to the trail. We’ll follow the trail east of East Lake down to 170th Street, where we can safely turn left onto Pilot Knob Road.
