NorthStar Grand Prix Needs Your Help

The NorthStar Grand Prix and Bike Festival needs your help to make the events happen this year. The organizers started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to put on the races and the festival and they continue to look for a corporate sponsorship that will keep this long-standing event going for the years to come.

The North Star Grand Prix team, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is working diligently to bring world-class cycling to Minnesota. The volunteer organization secured the 2019 event as a Union Cycliste International Women’s 2.2 Stage Race, following the disappointment of being forced to cancel last year’s event. The 2019 race features three great courses in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Stillwater, Minnesota. Amid an ongoing sponsorship search, the organizers are seeking to crowdfund the 2019 event.

The three-day event is slated for June 14-16, 2019 but faces a budget shortfall. The Minnesota community embraces many world caliber sporting events, and the North Star Grand Prix is recognized by athletes and cyclists from around the world, including requests from Spanish, Swiss, Canadian and Australian teams to race at this year’s event. The organizers are asking for assistance to welcome these athletes to our community.
