NSGP Stillwater Criterium

  • 201-233 2nd St S Stillwater, MN, 55082 United States (map)

Once again the North Star Bicycle Festival returns to historic downtown Stillwater for our grand finale.

The course treks up Chilkoot Hill every lap. This lung-busting uphill climb and heart-stopping downhill turns combine to make this criterium the hardest in North America.

This year we start the day with a brand new event for amateur races:  Drag races up Chilkoot Hill! Winners advance until only the fastest remain.

Avoiding a Traffic Jam:  Take the alternate route to downtown Stillwater to avoid heavy traffic on Highway 36 coming into Main Street. From Hwy 36 headed east, turn left (North) on Manning Road, then right (East) on County Rd 12, which becomes Myrtle Street and heads straight into downtown.  There are many parking options, the most convenient of which is the City ramp on 2nd and Commercial St. adjacent to the Lowell Inn - just North of Myrtle and two blocks from our course.
