Join the crowds in Upton Minneapolis on Friday night. The riders feed off the cheers and put on a great show. Teams race past Calhoun Square on a .88 mile course with six tight corners and a furious dash to the finish line.
A long straightaway down Hennepin Avenue hits a hard right turn, forcing riders to trade speed for skill on the back stretch of the course before ramping up again on Lake Street. Strong racers and teams will stay up front to control the tempo and avoid accidents.
We are thrilled to feature the first-ever Bridgewater Bank Bike Bash! It opens at 4pm with Fulton beer and a performace by Church of Cash!
We also have two great events between the women’s and men’s races.
First, the Greg LeMond CEO's Ride for Kids will feature local community and business leaders taking a lap of the course along with members of the Sanford Hype Special Olympics team,
Next, hundreds of kids will line up for the REAL race as they take one lap of the pro course.
